An Airbus A320/321 captain for Jet Blue Airways, Eric Rodriguez has over 20 years of experience in the industry. For the last 15 years, he has been a pilot and captain at Jet Blue. Eric has flown a diverse group of aircraft including King Air CRJ Challenger D328JET J41 E190 A320/321. With over 15,000 hours of experience. He has flown in Europe, India, Mongolia, China, North, Central, South America, and the Caribbean.  

Born in Santiago Dominican Republic and raised in NYC, he is the youngest of 12 brothers and sisters. He attended Aviation High school in Queens NY and subsequently went on to attend City College of New York. In 1997, Eric moved to Florida to obtain his pilot rating and certification, then completed his Flight Instructor Certification at Oklahoma University.  

Later, he became a flight instructor at Airfleet International, located in Teterboro NJ. He was later promoted to director of the flight school. In January 2000, he started his career as a professional airline pilot. 

Aside from his passion for Aviation, he has always been involved in helping and promoting better resources for underserved communities. He has been part of nonprofit organizations such Union de Jovenes Dominicanos, Dominincans 2000, and has served as an advisor for other organizations.

He currently resides in Florida with his wife and children but maintains a strong connection with NYC.
