To be a voting member of the Captains Council, you must be an active or retired airline pilot in the United States, with heritage or family in the Dominican Republic.

1. The Captains Council welcome authors and researchers, who are interested in providing their free time and effort to help advance Dominican aviation.
2. Authors and researchers must have an aviation or related background, that would help in the analysis of aviation-related topics. The executive board will evaluate all applicants and contact them with their decision.
3. All publications and research work done for the Captains Council will be subject to editing and publication decision on the part of the editing board.
4. All publication and research work done for the Captains Council is open for sharing by the Captains Council in our different platforms.
5. The author and researchers remain owners of their work and are free to use it in other platforms.
