Capt. Pimentel Imbert Sone is an experienced airline pilot with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he also minored in Air Traffic Control and Meteorology.
He currently serves as a First Officer in the Boeing 767/757 in Delta Air Lines, flying domestic and international routes. Before this Oscar was a Captain for Republic Airline in the ERJ 170/190. His aviation background includes roles as a Pilot Mentor, a member of the Pilot Talent Acquisition Team, and a Flight Instructor. Additionally, he has served as a Flight Supervisor and ASAP ERC Pilot Representative & Team Safety Leader, investigating safety concerns and educating pilots.
Oscar holds multiple certifications, including ERJ-170/190 and Boeing 767/757 PIC Type Ratings, Airline Dispatch Certificate, and a FAA First Class Medical Certificate. He has amassed over 6,000 flight hours, with extensive experience in multiengine, turbine, and pilot-in-command operations.
Beyond aviation, he has actively participated in humanitarian and environmental initiatives, including the Igneri Foundation, Blue Life Foundation, and Punta Cana Ecological Foundation. Fluent in English and Spanish, Oscar also delivers motivational speeches at high schools in the U.S. and abroad.
